The Woolstore building and the KGS pool pavilion at dusk
Our story

The place Kingston was missing.

Why KGS exists

Kingston deserved a proper place to train.

Kingsborough Village gave this corner of Kingston somewhere to live. What it didn't have was somewhere to properly train, swim and recover, without a drive across town or a wait for a rack. So that's what went in below it: a strength floor, a 25-metre magnesium lap pool, a real Finnish sauna and a cold plunge, in one small building run at a size where the coaches know your name.

It's built for the people who live and work around here. Somewhere the same faces turn up week after week, get to know each other, and actually look forward to coming back.

Three things we hold to
KKeep showing up.

Consistency beats perfection, every time. We build training people can sustain, not survive.

GGet better together.

Coaching that meets you where you are, and a community that trains, swims and recovers alongside you, each at their own level.

SStrength with purpose.

Training that supports real life: carrying, lifting, playing, ageing well. Strength you use, and the recovery that backs it up.

To help people move better, train smarter and feel stronger through simple, high-quality fitness, swimming and recovery experiences.
